Sophie Matthews-Paul is a technology consultant specialising in digital ink-jet printing, specifically within the realm of wide- and superwide-format production, with which she has been involved since its inception. Sectors covered include machine design and build, inks, materials and consumables, and she works with manufacturers, suppliers and end users of printers ranging from A2+ to 5m in width.

As well as providing her own independent consultancy service, Sophie is a globally acknowledged expert in her field and is an associate consultant with InfoTrends. She supports prominent industry associations, including FESPA, and writes for leading international publications, including Output, Specialist Printing Worldwide, Image (Australia), Irish Printer, Large Format (Germany) and Signs of the Times (US).
